We are pleased to be offering a good old country find here in the state of Maine. It is a thumb back arrow back arm chair in the old paint. You can see the signs of the red paint underneath the black paint. This chair dates from the 1850s era in really nice condition. Someone has replaced a couple of the rungs that hold the legs together. It shows the old wear, scratches, gouges and has plenty of character. The overall size is 18 inches wide across the seat, 17.5 inches deep, 17.5 inches high on the seat, 26 inches high to the arm and 34 inches high to the top of the post. It is a great country chair that is all handmade. If you are into primitives than this chair is for you. Shipping starts at $110 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
