We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful solid mahogany acanthus carved fan back arm chair that dates from the 1920's era. Someone reupholstered it in an awful light green vinyl that I dislike. You can see where a cat used the back a little bit to stretch its paws out. The fabric is in pretty good shape except the pea green color that I dislike and where the cat exercised on the edge of the back. The fabric could possibly be tinted. The chair has Mahogany carved acanthus posts, finials on the top of the posts, medallion corner blocks and big wide solid mahogany arms. You can see wear where the arms have been worn over the years and we would touch up the arms prior to purchase if the buyer reminds us at the time of the sale. The overall size is 31 inches wide across the arms, 22 inches inside the arms, 23 inches deep, 44 inches high to the back, 25 inches high to the arm and 17 inches high to the seat.
