SOLD Early Country Step Back Small Cupboard – Original Finish
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful two piece step back cupboard that came out of a southern Maine estate in original finish and condition. I am not a big early person, but this particular step back cupboard I love because of the size, condition and quality. It has a two door step back cupboard section on top with carved pillars coming down both sides. The base cabinet has three hand cut dove tail drawers with pillars also. This is a nice piece of country furniture that I believe dates from the 1860s to 1870s. It is in the original finish and it is really nice. It would go with Victorian or primitives. This one came right out of a home and it hasn’t been polished or cleaned. Behind the two doors on top is a double shelf interior. It offers plenty of storage. The original hardware is all intact. The overall size of the top is 29 inches wide by 13 inches deep and 36 inches high. The base cabinet is 32 inches wide, 20 inches deep and 37 inches high. The overall height is 73 inches high. The large drawer on the base is 9 inches deep. It comes with a key. It is a great little country piece. Shipping starts at $265 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
