We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful original finish serpentine front French ogee bracket foot base five drawer dresser in the Duncan Phyfe/Hepplewhite style that dates from the 1940s made by the Drexel Furniture Company as indicated by the burnt in logo on the top drawer. They made some great furniture in the 1940s' and they carried it right into the 1950's. This beautiful dark reddish brown mahogany stain tall chest is 36 inches wide, 21 inches deep and 51 inches high. The drawers are dove tail, serpentine and retain the original oval Hepplewhite hardware. The beautiful grain selection on the drawer fronts is lovely. There are some nicks and dings as to be expected on something of this age. It needs a good polish as it has come right out of the home.
