We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful professional refinished 48 inch round solid oak top dining table in quarter sawn oak with two 15 inch oversized extensions leaves. This table dates from the 1900-1905 era. Look at the base on this beautiful table as it is very unusual Empire style with the tulip tapered pedestal that comes down to the platform base that is all tiger sawn. The table has been professionally stripped, re-glued, sanded, stained and multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer have been applied. The table is 48 inches round and 29 inches high. When the two 15 inch table leaves are installed, it becomes 78 inches long to accommodate 6 dining room chairs nicely. The table has also been paste filled for an outstanding finish. The table leaves have an unusual design with breadboard ends, which is rare. Breadboard ends are where the ends have opposing grain, but they must have done that so that they could use the tiger sawn oak. The table is finished in a beautiful medium amber oak stain finish. It will cost $245 to have this table shipped within our normal shipping area. Please contact us prior to purchase to confirm that you are within our normal area. We also ship to all points of Canada, but please contact us to obtain a quote for your specific locale prior to purchase.
