This beautiful Victorian walnut roll top desk was picked straight out of a home here in Maine. Dating from the 1880s, this piece remains in original condition and showcases the best of the period’s craftsmanship — including hand-carved walnut drawer pulls, even on the interior cubby drawers, which is a rare and charming detail.
The desk features multi-panel picture frame molded sides, true to the Victorian style, and is fully finished on all sides, allowing it to be floated in a room. The tambour roll top opens smoothly to reveal a classy cubby-style interior with multiple vertical slots and four interior drawers, each with its original tiny carved pulls intact.
