SOLD Antique Victorian Side Chairs, Mahogany Carved Chippendale Pair of 2
This match pair of Antique Chippendale Side Chairs are really high-end city style in solid mahogany. Dating from the 1880s, in beautiful condition, these chairs have no breaks and have incredible center back splats. Other than needing to be tightened up, they are in great condition. Under the center splat is an opened pierce carved heart. Above that is a flame torch and an open finger hold on top. The knuckles on the legs are wonderfully carved. This pair of Antique Side Chairs has a wide solid mahogany beaded edge frame that inserts the seat cushion. The legs terminate in a ball and claw foot. The fabric is the original fabric. The chairs can easily be reupholstered as the seats pop right out. The overall size is 23 inches wide on the elbows of the legs, 21.5 inches wide on the seat, 18 inches deep on the seat, 20 inches high to the seat and 41.5 inches high to the top of the chair. These would look gorgeous in a sitting room, and you are getting the two chairs for one money. Shipping starts at $185 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
