SOLD Antique Victorian Renaissance Gold Gilded Walnut Hall Mirror
We are pleased to be offering today a gorgeous incise carved burl walnut gold accent Victorian hall mirror that dates from the 1870s era. It is a fantastic looking piece. I am not sure if the gold is original or if it has been touched up a bit. These were normally done in this fashion and this one has a large heavily carved center crest, outside corner crests, incise carved burl walnut panels with ebonized bevel edge. This beautiful mirror is 33 inches wide at the widest point, the mirror frame is 29 inches across, 59 inches overall height. The looking glass, which appears to be original, is 23 inches wide by 43 inches tall. It has a fantastic look with side mount brackets for easy attachment to the wall.
