We are pleased to be offering today this Hunzinger rocker in a model I have never had before. In my over 50 years in the business, I have bought and sold many Hunzinger rockers but never this model. I am not sure, but it must be quite rare as I have seen many models. This model has carved daises and rosettes across the top. There is one daisy missing on the outside left side. The next border is of berries that are all intact. It has a stick ball center splat that is intact. The arms are lollipop looking kind of like a valve on a motor. In traditional Hunzinger fashion, it has rope twist spindles and a spring mechanism that was patented by Mr. Hunzinger himself. This chair dates from the 1880s in the original finish. The seat is a crush velour that is of the era and is faded. There are no rips, stains, or tears in the fabric. The overall size is 22 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 18 inches wide on the seat, 19 inches deep, 44 inches high to the top of the acorn finials, 24 inches high to the arms and 18 inches high to the front of the seat. It is a humdinger from Hunzinger! Shipping starts at $265 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast. Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to obtain a quote for additional shipping outside of New England.
