We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful Victorian burl walnut platform rocker that doesn’t get much nicer than this dating from the 1880’s. There is gorgeous burl walnut across the top, incise carving all the way around, beautiful incise carving even on the sides and platform of the rocker. Someone has even reupholstered and re-cushioned it previously. The fabric is a pink color that is in outstanding condition and it is prepared for decades of comfortable use. The overall size is 24 inches across the arms, 19.5 across the inside of the arms, 17 inches deep from the back to the front of the seat, 41 inches high as it naturally sits, 17 inches high to the seat and 15 inches high on the back of the slanted seat. It comes with the original brass casters. The stretchers and trim are incise carved. It is a wonderful rocker. It will cost $165 to have this rocker shipped within our normal area.
