SOLD Antique Victorian Outstanding Oval Marble Top Parlor Table
We are pleased to be offering today this attractive early Victorian oval marble top stands that we have listed lately dating from the 1880's. This one has a rose color marble top that I personally love. It has a burl walnut trim that goes around the outside trim and the marble sits on top of the trim. The oval skirt has burl trim all the way around and all the carved details are on all four sides. The base appears to be simplistic, but it is high quality upon closer inspection. It has an incise carved center post with a solid cross stretcher that is stout and sturdy. The four posts coming down have the same look and go down into a detail quality claw foot. The condition is unbelievable. The only thing we see wrong with it that there is a small fleck of burl walnut veneer missing on the very edge of the trim ring. It can be fixed, but I wanted to mention it. The patina is really nice. The finish shows minor nicks and dings from age. The overall size is 34 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 31.5 inches high. The size of the rose color oval marble is 30 inches wide by 22 2inches deep. It is a beautiful table that is a great investment minded piece. This table could go in any room. Shipping starts at $225 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
