This antique roll top desk is a beautiful example of the popular Victorian tiger sawn office desk. This piece was professionally restored and refinished a few years back, and has maintained a fantastic look. This model antique roll top has raised panels all the way around, desirable carved pulls, four drawers on one side, three drawers on the other side with the simulated bottom drawer looks like two drawers, but is actually a large file drawer, a center drawer and two slides. This roll top desk has been all refinished in a dark oak stain, which was very well done. It says Stout Brothers was the seller from 919-921 Arch Street, which I believe was in the Illinois area. This antique desk was made by the Standard office furniture company. It has a beautiful multi-molded roll top on the molding. It has a multi-cubbyhole interior with quite a few drawers. It even has the key for the roll lock and center drawer lock, which is rare! The overall size is 50 inches wide, 35 inches deep, 31 inches high to the writing surface and 51 inches high to the top of the desk. It has raised panels all the way around. The chair space for your leg area is 20 inches wide by 26 inches high. This desk would cost between $900-$1,100 just to professionally restore and refinish and is without buying the desk, so this price is reasonable for the refinished condition it is in. This desk has everything complete. Shipping starts at $425 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges.
