SOLD Antique Victorian Oak Multi-Carved Picture Frame
We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful Victorian multi-carved oak frame dating from the 1890’s. It has little heart shapes on all four corners. There is a little bit of damage on two of the photos, which don’t jump out but are there. They are on the top right hand corner and the bottom left hand corner. The frame itself has a beautiful gesso carved exterior, then a raised beaded caterpillar or pea pod design, then an oak section and then an antique carved gesso design on the inside. All of the gesso carving is a bronze color. The exterior size is 34 inches wide by 26 inches high. The size o f the glass is 25.5 inches wide by 17.5 inches high.
