SOLD Antique Victorian Marble Top Burl Walnut Half Commode / Nightstand
We are pleased to be offering this Victorian burl walnut veneered and solid black walnut half commode or nightstand to you today. Dating from the 1880s in the original condition, all we did after buying this from a great home was replace the damaged knobs with replica tear drop pulls on both the door and on the dove tail drawer. Everything else is original and as found, and it remains in the original dark walnut stain finish. It has a dovetail burl panel front drawer, additionally, below the drawer is a raised panel door that opens to reveal a shelf interior. It has a white and a gray grained bevel edge ogee top. The marble has some stains as shown in the photos, but nothing serious. The overall size is 17.5 inches wide, 15.5 inches deep and 30 inches high. It is tough to find these, and we actively search for these, which is why we are fortunate enough to have them often. Shipping is $165 for a driveway delivery throughout the continental USA.
