SOLD Antique Victorian Burl Walnut Six Drawer Tall Chest with Gallery
We are pleased to offer this stunning Victorian tall chest, crafted from burl walnut and solid black walnut, dating from the late 19th century. This elegant piece features six dovetail drawers with original hardware and a matching gallery backsplash. Notably, the chest has escutcheons on both sides of the drawers, though there are no keyholes—suggesting an attempt to mimic a lock side chest. The actual key locks are centrally located, though a key is not included. The chest remains in its original finish, and we will ensure it is glued and sturdy before shipping.
