SOLD Antique Unusual Stuffed 100-percent English leather sofa
This is a beautiful English leather sofa that came in on our last container. It has three thick removable cushions that offer a lot of comfort against the upholstered buttoned and tufted back, arms and top. It has a rolled arm, rolled back, and sits upon tapered turnip-style legs with brass casters. We’re not sure how old it is, but most of our leather furniture from England is from the last 30 years or so, and this is not a style we’re used to seeing. It’s in a dark oxblood color with a bit of black distress, and the overall condition looks really good. There is one tiny place on one of the buttoned pleats that the sewing has started to come apart, but you’d need to look pretty hard to see it. This is an extra large sofa, measuring 82 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 60 inches on the inside, it is 36 inches deep, and the cushion’s depth is 21 inches. The height to the back is 34 inches tall and it is 28 inches high on the arms. This is one of the better sofas we’ve had in a long time, and although I thought it would look great in the office, everyone else said, “Sell, sell, sell!” Please take a look around the rest of the site, and remember that we give a generous freight discount when you purchase multiple items.
