We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful full size maple with a lot of tiger stripes in the posts poster bed that dates from the 1840s. It appears that it had a conversation where they stretched the posts out to make it a modern day full size. The inside dimensions are 54 by 76 inches to easily accommodate a modern day full size. The period solid posts that have a lot of tiger stripe in them. They must have replaced the shield and cross stretcher when they stretched the posts out to make it a modern size. It is finished in a mellow yellow color. The posts are 60 inches high with nice turnings. It is a bolt on bed that uses rails to make the bed extra tight and sturdy. The box spring will set down inside the bed, which is unusual for this style of bed. Shipping starts at $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
