We are pleased to be offering today this tough, hard to find and downright rare matching set of 8 true Victorian incise carved burl walnut and walnut dining chairs that consists of six side chairs and two armchairs. Look at the numerous pictures to appreciate the quality of these chairs dating from the 1880s in the original finish. They came right out of a home with a matching table that is on another listing but pictured below. Please contact us to see if the table is still available, if you are interested in the set. This listing is for the chairs only with ebony highlights against the black walnut, burl walnut top trim with fancy fluted finial, stick and ball gallery, cane back, multi turn tapered cross stretchers and they are all tight and sturdy. The overall sizes are: the two arm chairs are 22 inches across the seat and 20 inches deep, to the top of the chair is 39 inches tall and the height of the seat is 20.5 inches. The six side chairs are seat 20 inches wide by 18 inches deep with total height of the chair 37 inches with the seat being 20.5 inches high. The chairs have been reupholstered in an expensive upholstery job with extra cushion. The price is for six armchairs and two armchairs.
