We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of eight matching Hepplewhite shield back dining chairs that consists of two armchairs and six side chairs that dates from the 1940s to 1950s in wonderful original condition. This is the type of chair that came out of a home with the plastic coasted seats to let you know how clean the seats are!! The chairs hardly show any nicks and dings for the age, so they must not have been used that much. These were sold by the Red Lion Furniture Company that is known for selling high quality furniture such as Ebert. The finish is a dark reddish brown mahogany stain. They are all mahogany with no white wood. Even the finger splats in the back are all incise carved. The size of the armchairs is 21.5 inches wide, 18.5 inches deep, 40 inches high to the chair back, 26 inches high to the arm and 19 inches high to the seat. The side chairs are 18.5 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 39 inches high to the chair back and 18.5 inches high to the seat. They are a wonderful set of eight. Shipping starts at $325 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
