SOLD Antique Set of 8 Formal Style Mahogany Dining Chairs
We are pleased to be offering today this stunning set of solid mahogany unusual formal style dining chairs in the Chippendale style. The set consists of two armchairs and six side chairs. These chairs are extra tall and unbelievable quality. They came from an Estate on the south shore of Boston. I have no idea of the age, but I would guess they are from the 1960s to 1970s era. They are solid mahogany with flared back leg, solid mahogany Chippendale queen anne pad foot front leg, carved crest on all the chairs and the fabric is an upholstered wine color that is in nice shape. They are great quality chairs that probably cost a lot of money brand new, but they are here today at a bargain price. The arm chairs are 20 inches wide across the seat, 18 inches deep, 40 inches high to the chair back, 27 inches high on the arms and 19 inches high to the seat. The side chairs are 19 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 40 inches high to the chair back and 19 inches high to the seat. You are getting all eight chairs for one money. They are in a dark reddish brown mahogany stain finish that has minor nicks and dings from normal wear. Shipping starts at $295 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
