SOLD Antique Round Oak Table by Horner w/4 Leaves

This is a beautiful fully professionally refinished round oak table that comes with 4 factory 11" wide leaves.  It is marked R.J. Horner out of New York.  It dates from the early 1900s.  It came out of a local estate with the original matching tiger sawn chairs.  We are showing the table with the chairs so you can see how nicely they match, but we are offering the table here and the chairs by themselves on another listing.  Here you are getting a 54" round table in  the highest quality with an unusual platform base that I have never seen in my 40 year career!!  It has a picture frame panel molded skirt of quarter sawn oak.  The table comes with one leaf factory skirted and three other leaves unskirted.  The furniture tags were mostly on the chairs, but it says that this table was sold by the Flint and Horner Company out of New York.  It has the Horner emblem saying R. J. Horner in the logo on the tag.  We are showing a picture of the tag, but they are in poor shape.  You will get one lable for the table and one tag for the chairs if you purchase them as well to prove that they came from R.J. Horner.  They don't get any better quality wise as the selection of tiger sawn oak used on everything is unbelievable.  A picture frame molded skirt is very hard to find and is simply stunning being all tiger sawn oak. The table opens up to 8 feet long and is 30 inches high with the bottom of the skirt being 26 inches high.  Do not get this professionally refinished table and leaves confused with someone who oils up an original finish.  This table was in the dark oak stain, but since people don't care for dark oak any longer, we completely hand sanded, repaired any seams or cracks, stained a gorgeous medium oak color, applied multiple coats of sealer and applied a clear coat of moisture resistant Sherwin Williams lacquer.  It is ready for years and years of carefree use.  Please take time to look at the picture of all the legs and how the center has a vase carved of solid tiger sawn oak in the center.  The chairs definitely do match and they have the same style leg.  It will cost $299 to have this table shipped within our normal shipping area. Please keep in mind that the chairs are being sold separately.
