SOLD Antique Office Chair, Victorian Ladies Swivel Tilt Desk Chair
This Antique Office Chair dates from the 1880s era, and features the original finish and condition. This Victorian Office Chair features walnut wood construction, tilt, and swivel. This antique office chair is one of a matched pair; if you would like both, please check with us to see if the match is still available. This antique office chair is Eastlake with spoon carving all through it and tiny dainty spindle gallery back. It has vertical carved slats and cross members, hip rests and seat trim around the seat. The seat sits upon a four-legged base with a threaded rod that adjusts the height. The overall size is 19 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 36 inches high and 17 inches high to the seat. Please keep in mind that the chair will adjust 3-4 inches on the threaded rod. The chair was repaired around the hip rests with sheetrock screws instead of re-gluing them and there are a couple of old cracks that have been repaired. The chair is usable, but it could use a professional repair. The seat is a cranberry crush velour that is in good usable condition with no rips or tears.
