We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful professionally stripped, refinished, restored six drawer tiger sawn filing cabinet that dates from the turn of the century (1900s).  It has drawers with push bars in the back to provide three rows of index cards or you could use them for something else if desired.  The drawers are 16.5 inches wide, the push blocks in the back are each 5.25 inches wide, 4 inches high on the sides of the drawers and 6 inches high on the fronts of the drawers.  This would be wonderful for CD's. DVD's, baseball card collection, record cabinet and much more.  They used to put pieces of plywood in between the push bars to create three rows of storage space.  Actually, some of the push bars are missing so they just removed them as they were not needed.  The overall size of the file cabinet is 22.5 inches wide, 27 inches deep and 52 inches high.  It is all tiger sawn oak and finished all the way around so that it can stand out alone in the room if desired.  All the brass hardware is attached.  Every drawer has knobs, original handle and three file card holders.  The rods were pulled out a long time ago, as usual, but we have placed the knobs in to give the appearance of rods being in place.  The fie cabinet also sports the makers tag on the front from Library Bureau Sole Makers.  It is gorgeous in professionally refinished condition.  It will cost $285 to have this file cabinet shipped within our normal shipping area.  Please contact us prior to purchase to confirm that you are within our normal area.  We also ship to all points of Canada, but please contact us prior to purchase to obtain a quote for your specific locale.
