This antique sectional file cabinet by the Library Bureau of Congress, who are well known for their high-quality office equipment, is most unique. Dating from the 1890's, this file cabinet has seven sections that include a high legged base, small pull-out drawer with two index card drawers, two large drawers, three index drawers, two standard file cabinet drawers and then the top section. This antique file cabinet has the brass labels on it, and the hardware is all intact, missing just one threaded rod, which people don’t use anymore anyway :) All the heavy cast brass hardware is intact, too! It needs to be refinished as not all pieces were used continuously and the sections don’t match. We refinished these all the time and we would be happy to provide a quote to refinish this piece and have the brass buffed up. The overall size is 19.5 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 18 inches high on the leg base section, the next section is 10 inches high, the next section is 7 inches high, the next section is 5 inches, the next section is 12 inches high, the next section is 12 inches high, the top is 3 inches high and the overall height of the cabinet is 66 inches high. This is a unique file cabinet. We actively look for office furniture and have a consistent stock. Shipping starts at $325 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
