SOLD Antique Mahogany Three Drawer File Cabinet

We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful three drawer mahogany file cabinet made by the Gunn company, out of the great lakes region, back in the early 1900s.  We have taken the cabinet in and fabricated the sides because they were missing and we did them the same way the factory does them.  The Gunn file cabinet has a distinctive over hang unlike any other company out there.  Do not get this cabinet confused with others out there as this one has been completely stripped by hand, sanded, stained, multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer and the brass has been buffed.  This is not one that has been done haphazardly, it has been all professionally done and is ready to go into the office for many years of enjoyment.  The overall size is 16 inches wide, 24 inches deep on the case, 25.25 inches including the overhang and the height is 48 inches.  The drawers open up and they actually adjustable so that you can work out of a hanging folder.  The inside space is 12 inches wide, approximately 21 inches deep and the face of the drawer is 11 inches high.  So, this would be classified as a standard size.  This are actually hard to find in the three drawer section and we do not get too many Gunn file cabinets, but we are happy to have this one.  The overall condition of this cabinet is all refinished, but we do leave characteristic marks here and there.  You can see where there are some rubs over the years of use, but for something that is 120 years old it has had it use and is wonderful.
