This antique file cabinet is a great, standard-sized drawer oak office cabinet. Dating from around the 1890s, it maintains its original handles, and has the super-desirable panel sides on both the right and left sides. Recently refinished by a previous owner, it's in good condition, and done very nicely in a reddish-brown stain. The drawer sliders work really well, meaning the drawers open and close smoothly, which is not common on these old pieces. The brass index card holder on the bottom drawer is slightly different than the others, and the drawers are missing the rods, which no one ever misses anyway, but we like to mention it. This antique file cabinet is in really nice condition, the overall size of this antique file cabinet is 15.5 inches wide, 25 inches deep, and 53 inches tall, and the size of the drawers 12.25 inches wide and height of the face of the drawer front is 10.5 and it’s 24 inches deep.
