We are pleased to be offering today this gorgeous formal style Hepplewhite
inlaid double wide glass door with the traditional 13 panes of glass, which
stands for the 13 colonies, in each doors with the individual mullion that
dates from the 1890s. A great looking inlaid cabinet in the style of
Hepplewhite. This beautiful inlaid cabinet has a floral design on the top
of the molding face. The doors are pinstriped in maple inlaid. It has Hepplewhite
legs and glass sides. The shelves have disappeared somewhere in the
warehouse and we have a disagreement whether it had two glass shelves or two
wooden shelves. So we are letting the buyer tell us what they want! We
will either provide two plate glass shelves that will be completely
adjustable or two wooden shelves that will be completely adjustable. Please
let us know upon purchase which you would prefer. The cabinet has been
re-sprayed in a satin moisture resistant lacquer and the typical age marks
still show underneath. In its day it was very expense, but we are able to
offer it at a more reasonable price from a local estate. The overall size
is 4 feet wide, 15 inches deep and approximately 70 inches tall. Each door
in the front is 22.5 inches wide. It comes with a key. The overall
condition is nice considering it is from the 1880s to 1890s. There is a
crack on the backboard, which most people have put linen over and used linen
on the wooden shelves as well. This is unusual as we do not get these
often. Shipping for a driveway delivery starts at $385 if you within our
normal area. Please contact us to confirm that you are within our normal
area. Don't forget to add us to your favorites so you do not miss any of
the upcoming estate items we will be listing in the coming week.
