This antique hall tree is outstanding! Constructed of beautiful tiger sawn oak, it dates from the 1890s. Featuring the original embossed cast metal hooks, detailed carved crest, fantastic original beveled glass mirror, and a nice storage bench in the seat. The condition of this is just beautiful. We sell a lot of hall trees, and this one is particularly nice. It looks like this antique hall tree retains its original finish, but because the condition is so nice, we can only assume that it was refinished at sometime along the way by a previous owner. There’s a little bit of staining on the right-hand column; not a big deal, we just like to mention it. This antique hall bench is seriously so beautiful -- if you’re looking for a hall tree, you would be remiss to pass this one by!
The grains in the tiger sawn oak that is all through this piece really stands out and enhances the beauty of this stately Victorian hall bench.
Measuring 44 inches wide, 20 inches deep, and 89 inches high, the bench is 18 inches from the floor, and measures 20 inches to the top of the arm from the floor. The mirror itself measures 49” x 24“. This beautiful tiger sawn oak hall tree is truly spectacular and would look fantastic in your home or office.
