We are pleased to be offering this tiger sawn oak sort-of-Mission-style lift top seat to you today. Dating from the 1890s, this piece maintains its original dark oak finish, and bevel glass mirror. It has a thick applied-carved crest on the molded top, rectangular bevel glass mirror, bronze floor cast metal hooks that are all intact and good, swooped out arm, lift up seat with storage and flared front leg. The seat must have been slammed down at one time, because the top was split and was re-glued. We can detail it out prior to shipping if you remind us at the time of the sale. There are a few rub marks on the original finish, but overall it is in nice condition given the age. The overall size is 33 inches wide on the outside of the arm, 27 inches on the inside of the arm, 15 inches deep, 18 inches deep on the seat, 28 inches high to the arm and approximately 80 inches high to the top of the hall tree.
