This antique dining room table is an early example of a fantastic carved banquet table, and it opens to a whopping 15 feet! The table is 54 inches round and 29.5 inches tall. This antique dining table comes with 6 factory leaves that are each 16 inches wide and when the six leaves are installed the table is 12 and a half feet long. The antique dining table opens even more, and could take another 32 inches of table leaves for a total of 15 FEET! Dating from the Civil War era of 1860s to 1870s, the overall condition of this table is decent, as it is over 150 years old. It has normal nicks, dings, and minor issues, and is completely usable as is. It has a heavy stout base that comes apart in two sections. It has a spot that takes two middle legs, but there is only one currently. We can fabricate another middle leg for you if you remind us at the time of the sale. If you want the table completely restored and refinished, we would be happy to provide you a quote from our professional restoration shop - we can strip, refinish, and make this beautiful table pristine, as a 15-foot banquet table is almost never seen, and would be spectacular all done up. There is a piece of molding missing on one half of one side of the brackets that go down from the top that joins the fluted leg. We will fabricate the missing piece and color in if you are purchasing as is. If you refinish this lovely table, which we highly recommend, you would never know the piece of the molding was ever replaced. The table has a big carved skirt that is 4 inches high. The table has fluted outside corner legs that are joined together with a huge bracket in the center that joins into the center. Take time to look at the photos that show this table fully open at 15 feet. We keep 100’s of stunning tables in stock, but a 15-foot-long table is a rare find. Shipping starts at $425 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
