We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful solid black walnut civil war era split pedestal banquet table that dates from the 1870s in beautifully restored condition. The table comes with 4 factory table leaves that are approximately 12.5 inches wide. The table is 45 inches round. When you open up the table the pedestal splits apart to show the middle leg for added support and style. The overall length is 112 inches. When the four leaves are installed the table opens to approximately 90 inches, so there is room for additional leaves. If the buyer so desires, we can quote a price to make additional leaves to match. It is a beautiful table that we have put brand new wooden wheel castors in to make the table 29.5 inches high. The table is finished is finished in a amber stain finish with multiple coats of satin sheen moisture resistant lacquer. The base has fancy cut out legs with fancy medallion centers on the bottom of the feet and on the knuckles. It has a deep multi-molded skirt on the edge of the table and the skirt.
