SOLD Antique Dining Table or Banquet Table with Claw Feet in Solid Mahogany
We are pleased to be offering this beautiful solid mahogany dining table or banquet table with excessive carving. Dating from the 1880s to 1890s, this European dining table features ball and claw carved feet, with big carved elbows on the legs and even floral carving on the bevel edge of the tabletop. This is a crank table, which means the dining table opens with a crank and threaded rod mechanism and most in this style hail originally from Europe. The crank looks like the ones used on the old Model T’s. It comes with two skirted, carved edge, solid table leaves that measure 23 inches wide each. The table is 65 inches long, 48 inches wide and 30 inches tall. When the two table leaves are inserted it becomes 9 feet long. It is nice original finish showing some rub marks along with nicks and dings from over 100 years of use. We could strip, sand, stain and redo the top only if you would like to contact us for a quote. Everything is original and factory. It is a beautiful table with a lot of value. Shipping starts at $395 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
