SOLD Antique Dining Room Chairs, Set of Six Empire Style

This set of antique dining room chairs consists of six Cherry stained chairs in the empire style, dating from the 1940s. The set consists of one arm chair, and five side chairs. They were manufactured by a company called Unique Furniture Company out of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, according to the company label underneath the chair. These chairs are in their original condition, showing the normal nicks and dings that come with age, and some minor scratches. These are all solid Cherry wood, and the fabric looks like it has been replaced at some point with a very nice looking fabric. The style of chair is very popular with empire dining room tables.

The overall size starting with the arm chair is 20 inches across the arms, 18 inches deep in the seat, 34 inches tall, 28 inches high to the top of the arm, and the height to the seat is 18 inches. The side chairs measure 17 inches wide, 16 inches deep, and 34 inches to the top of the crest rail, and 18 inches high to the seat.

Featuring saber style front legs, flared, back, legs, a solid cherry center splat, and a wonderful, cut out empire style designed back results in one really nice and stylish chair.
