We are pleased to be offering today this hard to find oak press back swivel tilt lawyers bankers office chair made by the Larkin Furniture Company back in the early 1900s. Very rarely do you see this, but this is a #2 Larkin arm chair office chair. Back in the day, you had this in the catalogs was this chair with a Larkin back. The difference in the #1-#3 grades were: #1 had barley twist post, #2 had this style post and #3 had a plain post. You had the choice of an arm chair base, rocking chair or a swivel office chair. You basically chose the top and base you desired. This is one of the rarer of the combinations. It was finished a long time ago. The press cane seat is bad and needs to be replaced. The arms had cracks in them at one time where the screws go In that we will detail out prior to shipping. IT could use a set of castors. Other than that it is a good original finish swivel tilt office chair. We would restore and refinish this for you at an additional cost. Please email us for a quote. The overall size is 21 inches across the seat, 19 inches deep, 42 inches high to the chair back, 23 inches high to the arms and 15 inches high to the seat. It will go adjust approximately 3 inches.
