SOLD Antique Desk, Antique Impressive Large Walnut Victorian Leather Top Writing Table
We are pleased to be offering this impressive large walnut Victorian leather top writing table to you today. Dating from last Quarter 19th century, this American piece features a rectangular top with notched corners and demilune ends is fitted with a tooled black leather top with gilt scrolling floral and Greek Key Trim with a central rosette. Great library table being six feet in width!! The apron fitted with 3 aligned drawers along one side, the centermost with gold incised cresting and central rondel escutcheon. The apron additionally adorned with raised walnut burl panels above pendant finials at the corners. Each end raised on square column supports joined to a central stretcher with yoke terminals joined to scrolled legs with gold incised decoration and incised rondels. The stretcher adorned with a disk form center finial. SIZE: 72” L x 36”W x 29 ½”H. CONDITION: Professionally refinished 25 years ago and other than small nicks and dings still in wonderful condition.
