These antique console tables are constructed out of mahogany with maple pinstripe inlay on the table tops. Dating from the 1890s these tables remain in good condition. Finish on these tables looks original, but have most likely been shined up somewhere along the line. Each table features carved daisies all of the way around the front skirts and two sides, big medallions on the lyre shaped legs, shapely cross stretchers, and carved claw feet on all four legs of each table.
These tables are in very good condition, with the exception of some small bits of the maple inlay that missing, and there is a crack in one of the table top that we will repair before shipping, but you’ll probably still see a little line where it once was.
Both drawers are lined with an aged, but still very supple and beautiful blue velvet fabric. They could probably use a good cleaning, but are perfect for silver storage.
Each table measures 45 inches long 20 inches deep and 37 inches tall. The drawers measure 34 inches wide, 15 inches deep and 3 inches tall.
