We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful tiger sawn oak raised panel side carved front open bookcase that comes with four fully adjustable shelves. Dating from the 1890’s, it is a great bookcase that will hold a lot of books. The front posts are all carved with a bell and fleur-delis pattern. It has a crown molded top, molded raised panel sides and it is stout and sturdy. The front of the shelves are round carved. We replaced the back of the bookcase and colored it to match. The overall size is 32 inches wide, 12 inches deep, and 61 inches high. The adjustable shelves are 10 inches deep. The baseboard must have had an electric socket as there is a wooden plate on the very base. I am not sure if it comes off or not. Shipping starts at $245 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
