SOLD Antique Carved Oak Server with Barley Twist Posts

We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful oak with burl and cross grain veneer carvings antique server with large barley twist posts of the front, base, and fancy carved mirror. This was purchased out of a home on the estate coast. This server is of German origin as stamped in the back and it is in original condition from the 1900’s to 1910’s. It has a solid oak top, barley twist posts supporting the bevel glass mirror backsplash. Look at the picture frame molded doors and drawers. It has big bold brass hardware. It is in great condition and even comes with a key. The double doors open to show a shelf in the center that has contact paper on it, which is normal.

The overall size is 44 inches across the server base, 25 inches deep, 37 inches high to the top of the base and 73 inches high overall. The size of the bevel glass mirror is 22 inches wide and 16 inches tall. The backsplash has a deep dark multi-molded extra fancy applied carving along the backsplash, across the front of the skirt and along the wings on the side. It would dress up any home.
