We are pleased to be listing this beautiful Mahogany curve glass carved china closet by Horner today that dates from the 1890's. It features double curve glass sides with a full mirror back and has four plate glass shelves. The cabinet has a delicate pierce carved gallery with winged cherubs centering a shield flanked by ornate scrolling vinery. The posts with fully carved naked women with draped tunic at the waist above square tapered engraved columns. The case with stepped and molded base raised on S-scrolled carved feet. The overall size is 59 inches wide by 23 inches deep with the height at 81 inches. Overall condition is good with the china closet being professionally refinished in a rich reddish brown Mahogany stain within the last ten years.
