

We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful Beidermeier empire style console mirror back cabinet that dates from the 1860s era. It came in on our last container and it certainly is a period piece. It has hand cut dove tail pine secondary drawers, dove tail drawer above a picture frame molded door. Behind the door is a shelf half way. The outside of the cabinet has olive ash burl, ebonized highlights around the ogee shapely bevel edge top and around the 45 degree angle top. It has ash burl and ebonized highlights also along the drawer. The cabinet is finished off with bun feet. It also has a picture mirror with the four molded steps to it, the ogee molding and the inside lined is the ebonized paint. You will go a long ways to find a cabinet like this as this is the first one we have ever owned. The overall size is 27 inches wide, 15 inches deep and 72 inches high on the base cabinet. The mirror is 59 inches high, 22.5 inches wide and 92 inches high overall including the base cabinet. Please check our other listings as we are always getting the hard to find unique goods.
