SOLD Flame Mahogany 4pc. Formal Bedroom Set

We are pleased to be offering this wonderful four piece flame mahogany bedroom set to you today. Dating from the the 1940s, this set is beautiful and well made, by the Ebert Furniture Company out of Red Line, Pennsylvania, a company well known for their quality goods. This set came from a local estate auction in Fall River, Massachusetts and was sold from the original owner.  The set consists of a full size panel bed, an extra tall high quality block front tall chest, a multi-drawer serpentine front low chest and a beautiful flame mahogany bevel glass wall mirror.  All four pieces feature beautiful flame mahogany, and retain their original cast brass hardware. There is a little leather brass embossed panel  insert on the tall chest and on the dresser itself, which completes the formal aesthetic. The overall size of the tall chest is 39 inches wide, 22 inches deep and 54 inches high.  We have re-sprayed the top to remove all the nicks and dings and the rest was professionally cleaned with the appropriate restorative oils. The overall condition is great with only very minor nicks and dings that come with age. The tall chest has two serpentine block front dovetail drawers on top, with a molded break in the center, and four serpentine drawers on the base. It is finished with an applied multi-beveled edge baseboard. We would like to note that between the top and bottom drawers, on the center edge, there are numerous nicks and dings as that particular drawer appears to have been used heavily. The next item is the low chest which has a professionally re-sprayed top to remove the nicks and dings, and features four drawers. The rest is beautiful with its matched veneer flame mahogany front, which is serpentine all the way down, including the baseboard! The overall size of the low chest is 48 inches wide, 22 inches deep and 36 inches high. It has the same quality build as the tall chest, and had only minor nicks and dings. The four dove tail drawers offer plenty of storage. The next item is the carved top flame mahogany bevel glass wall mirror. which features a solid mahogany frame base that encompasses the exposed bevel glass mirror. The crest has an unusual flame mahogany 3D carved detail on top.  The finish on the set is reddish brown mahogany.  The overall condition is nice as is.  The size of the mirror is 28 inches wide by 40 inches deep.  The size of the looking glass itself is 23 inches by 28 inches.  The mirror is in nice condition with just a few minor surface spots in the glass. The last piece is a very attractive bed, with flame mahogany foot board as well as a flame mahogany headboard. The outside dimensions are 57 inches wide, 80 inches long, 42 inches high on the headboard and 15 inches high on the foot board.  It features a picture frame molded headboard with flame mahogany panels with a raised beveled gingerbread frame all the way around.
