This antique Victorian bookcase is beautiful with double raised panel drawers, double doors, burl accents, and a heavily carved crest. This antique bookcase dates from the 1880s, and is in original condition. It is a nice-looking piece, even the backboards are attractive! It shows the normal nicks and dings from a piece that is over 100 years old. It has the original hardware all intact, and the original wavy glass in the big doors. It is all original, in fact, and comes with 10 individual shelves (5 on each side) that are fully adjustable. This antique carved bookcase is a beautiful piece with panel sides, big bold castors for ease of movement and it is simply stunning. The overall size is 56 inches wide, 15 inches deep and 81 inches high to the carved crest. When the close doors are open, each side is 24 inches wide, 10 inches deep and 58 inches high. You can adjust the shelves around as need be for your items. It has lovely burl panels on the top crest rail and across the drawer fronts. Shipping starts at $385 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges.
