Beautiful solid mahogany Empire style dining table dating from the early 1900s, fresh out of a home on the beautiful coast of Kennebunk, Maine. This handsome round table retains its rich original dark reddish-brown mahogany finish and has the warm character and graceful proportions that make these old dining tables so desirable.
The table features a substantial pedestal base with stylish scroll-form “jelly foot” platform legs and a clean Empire silhouette that works wonderfully in both traditional and transitional interiors.
At 54 inches round, it’s a very comfortable everyday dining size, but the table was originally designed to extend approximately four additional feet, allowing it to reach roughly 100 inches long when fitted with leaves. There are currently no leaves with the table, but we can quote fabrication of custom leaves if desired — just send us an email for a quote.
A very attractive antique mahogany table with lots of honest age and charm left in it.
