This Antique Parlor Set is a hard-to-find Victorian burl walnut renaissance parlor suite dating from the 1870s to 1885 era. The wood is very nice on this Victorian parlor set with burl walnut panels, carved trim pieces, and it is truly a great find. The parlor set consists of a large sofa, oversized gentleman’s armchair and two large side chairs. The finish is original, the patina is gorgeous, and I think the fabric is original, but it needs to be reupholstered. The sides are rough, and the sides are torn, but it is usable. It is pretty with the beautiful patina on the back and the dark blue fabric that was put on 125 years ago. The overall condition of the wood frame is nice with a couple of very small bubbles in the burl walnut trims that I think would repair well. The legs are all bulbous-turned. The castors are in the arm and side chairs. There are no castors on the sofa, which is normal. They have curved fronts, sides and arms. The overall size of the side chairs are 23 inches wide, 22 inches deep, 20 inches high to the seat and 39 inches high to the top of the chair back. The armchair is 30 inches wide, 23 inches wide between the arms, 25 inches deep, 46 inches high to the carved crest, 26 inches high to the arms and 19 inches high to the seat. The sofa is 69 inches wide, 51 inches wide inside the arms, 26 inches deep, 18 inches high to the seat, 28 inches high to the arm and 47 inches high to the crest. You are getting all four pieces for one money. It is a beautiful renaissance parlor set. Shipping starts at $425 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
