SOLD Antique Mantle Mirror Victorian Renaissance Monumental Mirror with Cupids
This antique mantle mirror is absolutely beautiful, and dates from the Victorian renaissance era. It is in unbelievable condition, and dates from the 1880s. In what appears to be original outstanding finish, the mirror frame is 76 inches wide, 8 inches deep, and 89 inches high overall. Someone has taken and built a baseboard for it that is still attached. The built baseboard is 8 inches high, in case you would like to remove it and put this beautiful antique mantle mirror on top of a mantle. Most people take these victorian mantle mirrors and lean or hang them against a wall, due to their large size. This mirror has incise carvings, gold highlights are intact, burl panels all over, ebony lined molded, gold gilded edge and bronze or metal cluster of 3 cupids. The medal circle is 6.5 inches round for reference. The mirror is in good condition with only a couple of minor flaws. The looking glass is 56 inches wide by 57 inches tall.
