This beautiful carved Mahogany china cabinet in the Horner style dates from the 1890s. The rectangular case features bowed glass sides and a serpentine center glass panel door. The frieze is decorated with foliate carving, while the door is flanked by fan-shaped cluster of leaves and stylized foliate-carved columns. The interior is fitted with four original plate glass shelves and backed with a four-panel mirror, creating an impressive display space for fine china, glassware, or collectibles. The cabinet is supported on a stepped molded base with squat square carved supports.
