Dating from the 1940s or ‘50s, this is a mahogany Chippendale Queen Anne pad foot Salem chest that offers six dovetail drawers for storage. All the drawers have raised panel fronts, and retain their original Chippendale style hardware. It has carved columns that come down into a Queen Anne pad foot, and a clamshell carving in the center. It also has a scalloped shaped skirt and a multi-molded edge top. The overall chest has been re-sprayed to reveal the gorgeous grains of the mahogany used in this chest. There is only minor wear and tear on this piece, and it’s all ready to go in the home. The overall size is 46 inches wide, 21 inches deep, and 36.5 inches high.
