SOLD Antique File Cabinet, Oak Four Drawer Legal Size File Cabinet – Globe MFG

This antique file cabinet maintains its original finish, and features four drawers, oak construction, and was originally sold by the Globe Office Furniture Company, who were well known for their quality office equipment. This antique file cabinet dates from the early 1900s, and the original hardware appears to be all intact, except the bottom drawer doesn’t have the threaded rod. This is a legal-size file cabinet and will easily accommodate hanging files. It has a waterfall rolled edge top, the original Globe decal label on top, original dark oak stain finish and the base of the back has had a 10-inch strip of tiger sawn oak veneer replaced as it was damage from dragging more than likely. It is all tiger sawn oak and structurally sound. It has panel sides. It has the metal back drawers for added strength. The overall size is 18 inches wide, 24.5 inches deep and 55 inches high. The size of the drawers on the inside are 15.5 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 11 inches high on the drawer face. The overall condition is good original showing minor nicks and dings.
