SOLD Antique Dining Set, Mahogany Acanthus Carved Banquet Table - 13.5 FEET

This antique dining table is outstanding in beautiful mahogany, with acanthus carved toenail claw feet, and a 60-inch solid mahogany round table top. This antique dining table dates from the 1890's and has been completely refurbished in our restoration shop. It comes with 6 factory leaves: 1 measures 15 inches, 2 measure 13.5 inches and 3 are 12 inches wide, measuring approximately 150 inches long when all the leaves are installed. There is room for one additional leaf, and we can quote you a price to have on fabricated, if you so desire. When the table came into the shop, the finish on the top was bad so we stripped, sanded, color matched it to the base, sanded the flat portion of the base, and then applied multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer to provide years of carefree use. The overall size of the table is 60 inches round, 150 inches long when all the leaves are installed and 30 inches high to the tabletop. The center leg is all good and supports the table when the leaves are installed. This table dates from the 1880s in professionally refurbished condition. Look online and you will see most of our competitors want $5,000 and up for a table of this stature and quality. We can keep our costs more reasonable as we keep many tables in stock and can refinish/refurbish items in our own facility. Shipping starts at $425 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges.
