SOLD Round Antique Mahogany Carved Banquet Dining Table – 13 FEET!!!!

 We are pleased to be offering this stunning 54-inch heavily carved round mahogany table in original finish. Dating from the 1880s, this table is in excellent condition, and this is one of the nicest designs we have had in a long time (and we see a lot of table here at Maine Antique Furniture!) This table comes with four 14.75 inch wide factory-made leaves. Two of the leaves are skirted and carved the same design as the skirt, and all four leaves have a carved gadroon edge to match the table. The pedestal is 12.5 inches across the center of the trunk. The table is 54 inches round and 30 inches high to the top. When fully opened, this table is an impressive 160 inches!! The current leaves stretch the table to 114 inches, but we can make additional leaves. If you desire a quote so you can take advantage of the full length of the table, please let us know. Honestly, the pedestal is probably one of the best we have ever had (again, we've been doing this for 50 years, we've seen a lot of tables). There are giant ball and claw feet, with deep dish scrolling on the elbows, carved skirt, gadroon edge, and so much more. The only thing keeping the table from being perfect is that one small carving is knocked off on one of the carved elbows, and there is one small water spot on top. We will correct these prior shipping. Other than that are the normal nicks and dings from a piece over 140 years old.
